Dividend Income

Investor Peek

The Dividend Growth light bulb turned on for me and I’ve been tracking my monthly dividend income progress thoroughly since the tail end of 2011.  I’ve kept good record and I’m finally ready to begin to publicly sharing my goals and progress by setting up Investor Peek as of 5/21/16.  I imagine it’ll take some time before I fully populate this site, but I’m happy to take this step in my journey.  I’ll begin updating going forward, and populate history in my free time.

The My Portfolio page lists my various portfolios and all stocks and funds I’m invested in, along with my cost basis. This dividend income page will be updated at the beginning of each month identifying all the dividends received from the previous month.

At the beginning of 2015, I set a goal to save and invest over $60,000 in new capital across my Portfolios for the year.  This is a very lofty goal for me.  The breakdown is as  follows: [401k: $18,000 + $23,611.64 company match + $3,000 401k loan repayment]; [Roth:  $5,500]; [personal brokerage account at MerrillEdge: $12,000]; [cash savings: $4,800].
